In 2025, 13,674 donors raised $47,091,208 in funding to support our patients through necessary programs and services including: Active Clinical Trials, Center for Families, Endowed Professorships, Expressive Therapies, Healthy Kids Express, Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds, Olson Family Garden, Child Life Zone, Therapy Dogs, Tri My Best Adaptive Triathlon.
Nationally ranked for 17 consecutive years, St. Louis Children's delivers leading-edge care through its exclusive partnership with physicians at WashU Medicine and is recognized among the nation's elite for nursing excellence-advancing pediatric health through expertise, research, and compassion.
U.S. News & World Report has once again named St. Louis Children's Hospital among America's Best Children's Hospitals-ranking it No. 1 in Missouri and No. 3 in the Midwest. St. Louis Children's ranked in all 11 specialties and in the top 20 for five of those specialty areas. Physicians from WashU Medicine-the exclusive physician provider at St. Louis Children's-bring world-renowned expertise and the latest research discoveries directly to patients.
The WashU Medicine Department of Pediatrics is one of only a few federally designated Child Health Research Centers in the country, underscoring its leadership in advancing pediatric medicine. St. Louis Children's is also the only children's hospital within BJC HealthCare, one of the nation's largest nonprofit health systems.
In 2025, St. Louis Children's Hospital earned its fifth consecutive Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center-marking 20 years of nursing excellence. Among 619 U.S. hospitals with Magnet designation, St. Louis Children's is one of only four pediatric hospitals nationwide to achieve Magnet with Distinction®, an elite honor reserved for organizations that exceed the highest standards of nursing practice.
